New sensory garden opened at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital
A new sensory garden has been opened at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) in Brighton (Thursday 21 May) following a fundraising campaign by local children’s charity, Rockinghorse.
Thanks to the help of their marathon runners (from the Brighton Half Marathon, Brighton Marathon and London Marathon 2015), Rockinghorse raised the £45,000 needed to make the sensory garden a reality for the hundreds of young patients who spend time at the Alex.
