Myself and my 3 year old, Jess, headed off to the lovely Brighton Dome with talk of hunting for bears. There was much excitement and we weren’t disappointed. The show is a musical puppet interpretation of Michael Rosen’s classic book we all know and love.
The audience was packed with wriggling, chattering 3-5 year olds who were mostly completely captivated by the show. There are 5 puppeteers whose enthusiasm oozed as well as their musical and acting talent. The puppets were brilliantly realistic and the show followed the story of the book… the anticipated arrival of the bear caused much excitement and squeals all round.
Overall, a brilliant job of bringing this wonderful book to life. 45 minutes very well spent!
